Simo Pizza Brooklyn 

SIMÒ Pizza Brooklyn brings the spirit of Naples to New York through a design that balances tradition, craftsmanship, and neighborhood history. Inspired by the classic Neapolitan pizzeria, the space is centered around the idea of cooking as performance, with an open kitchen and chef’s counter crafted from green Italian marble inviting guests into the energy and ritual of pizza-making. Custom wood-paneled seating and shelves lined with authentic Italian ingredients create a warm, immersive dining experience rooted in hospitality and craft.

The interiors draw deeply from Italian materiality and architectural heritage. Volcanic stone sourced from Naples forms a striking shelving wall, echoing the textures and facades of southern Italy, while geometric wood detailing inspired by the SIMÒ logo adds depth and rhythm throughout the space. Original mosaic tile floors and a restored tin ceiling honor the building’s historic character, connecting the restaurant to Brooklyn’s rich architectural fabric. Overhead, a canopy of diagonal string lights evokes the atmosphere of an outdoor piazza, transforming the dining room into a lively social gathering space.
